My name is Mandy! As a doula, I pride myself in providing you and your partner with non judgmental care, understanding, information and support throughout your pregnancy, during your birthing time, and immediately post partum. My experience as a Doula allows me to provide you with physical, emotional and mental support during your birthing time.

I can also support you through a significant health-related experience, such as  miscarriage, abortion or stillbirth. Please contact equanimitybirth@gmail.com for more information on support for these services.

*Equanimity Birth and Wellness supports individuals, families, and professionals by offering regular scholarships, sliding scale, and pay-what-you-can opportunities to people who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities as well as those where cost makes these services unattainable. This is determined on an individual basis.

Birth Mentorship

  • Initial Birth Prep check in meeting (set up resources and plan for future needs) 1-1.5 hours

  • Prenatal check in/Planning meeting 1-1.5 hours (virtual)

  • Equanimity Envision Birth planning Session-Build birth & advocacy plans, facilitate provider discussions 1-1.5 hours (virtual or in person)

  • Unlimited text/email support through out your pregnancy

  • Unlimited support via phone, text, email support (24 hour support 2 weeks before your guess date until 2 weeks after the birth of your baby  

  • Recommendations and resources as needed

  • Evidence Based Birth Childbirth Class (Standard class with 3 month availability to online resources, video and class content)

  • 1 Post partum visit (virtual) to debrief on your experience

  • Evidence Based Birth Class with me.

  • Equanimity Essentials: Breast/Chestfeeding your baby 2 hour Class (virtual)

  • Unlimited support via phone, text, email support including during your birthing time (24 hour support 2 weeks before your guess date until 2 weeks after the birth of your baby

  • Evidence Based Birth Childbirth Class (Standard class with 3 month availability to online resources, video and class content)

  • In person support at your home, hospital or Birth Centre.

  • 1-2 Post partum visits.
